Position Summary: Responsible for operational demand creation, lead times, on-time-delivery as well as for strategic planning and management of inventory.
Essential Functions:
- Create requisition and production orders for machines and parts due to sales forecast.
- Manage inventory, establish and reviews Economic Order Quantities, Safety Stock and Lot Sizes.
- Ensure lead times and part availability are accurate to fulfil project needs.
- Review weekly shortages and coordinate with purchasing and manufacturing for scheduling optimization.
- Supports purchasing in sourcing and bundling activities.
- Support supplier development and systemic improvement process.
- Establish and maintain scheduling process for manufacturing to decrease lead times and ensure On-Time-Delivery of materials and goods.
- Establish and maintain Assembly Master Schedule for capacity planning.
- Develops milestone dates for Operations for all Factory, Change Parts and Modernization Projects.
- Establish automated processes for demand creation in collaboration with purchasing and IT.
- Collaborate with sales and project management to validate Promise, Due, and Assembly Start dates, drive innovation, identify and implement cost savings potential.
- Analyze usage of inventory per machine types plus aftermarket business and optimize accordingly.
- Responsible for inventory usage and reduction of Excess & Obsolete materials.
- Ensure all MM processes are maintained and updated as needed.
- Responsible for CIP projects for responsible processes and teams.
- Manages the reconfirmation process for machine and aftermarket business.
- Reporting of Key-KPIs internally and towards corporate functions.
- Coordinate regular planning meetings to ensure projects are on time.
- Represent site as Department Head for all Inventory and Scheduling functions.
- International travel is possible which will require a valid passport and driver’s license.

Profil
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration or comparable experience
- Must have a minimum of 3+ years experiencing working in a Production Planning, Inventory Control or Supply Chain capacity within a capital equipment or machine assembly environment.
- Must have experience leading a team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with SAP is preferred
- SQL and Python query capabilities is preferred
- Ability to develop organized MFG and Assembly schedules utilizing easy to understand or standardized scheduling tools with recognition of key capacity constraints.
- Working knowledge of inventory management techniques such as scheduling, order point calculations, inventory turns, lot sizes and generated planning. Analytical approach to inventory management techniques.
- Knowledge of planning methods, business administration, cost calculations, product development and quality assurance. Knowledge of business and management principles and project management, inter-departmental coordination and process. Good communication skills verbally and in writing.
- Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a diverse, highly collaborative environment. Self-starter that takes initiative to achieve objectives without supervision.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including ability to communicate effectively to the intended audience
- Excellent MS Office skills, specifically Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- MS Power BI skills is preferred

The expected compensation range for this position is between $80,000 - $120,000 based on a full-time schedule.
Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
