Aufgaben

Essential Functions:

              Engineering team:

  • Provide direction to other team members in the establishment of processes and problem solving.  Includes interaction with engineering, vendors, and production to improve methods, workplace layouts, and product quality.
  • Supply technical advice to engineering and manufacturing on capability and cost. Provide technical assistance and research in the establishment of manufacturing process and procedures. Serves as the manufacturing representative on new product development projects.
  • Identifies and implements productivity improvements that will reduce costs.
  • Actively seeks solution to quality and manufacturing problems encountered in design, fabrication, and assembly. 
  • Provides designs for construction and maintenance of tooling, dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges.
  • Plan, procure and direct the implementation of capital equipment, including selection, checkout, debugging and training.  Assist in development of capital budget for manufacturing.

              Manufacturing team:

  • Meets production schedules on a timely basis.
  • Provide assistance and direction to employees in solving set-up machining and production problems.
  • Ensures quality standards are continually met. Monitors and controls scrap and rework with department.
  • Develops and implements solutions to manufacturing problems, improves the manufacturing methods that result in improved quality and increases productivity.
  • Monitors performance of associates and takes corrective action when appropriate.
  • Responsible for ensuring safe and healthy working conditions and promotes a positive behavior towards work safety through all contacts with other employees.
  • Contribute and be responsible to the Quality and Environmental awareness throughout the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Profil

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BS in Engineering, or equivalent in Mfg, Mechanical or Industrial
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering or operations environment.
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in a supervisor role.

Competencies:  Required:

  • Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices and procedures used in CNC machinery.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • SAP and ERP knowledge or experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning/Forecasting, Inventory /Production Planning, Finite scheduling and knowledge of Lean logistics concepts.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to challenge and motivate other to achieve desired results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and partner with other areas of the organization and foster teamwork.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Commitment to representing the company in a professional manner and upholding company values.
  • Strong customer srevice focus with internal and external customers.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,000.00 - $135,000 based on a full-time schedule.

Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At Syntegon compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at Syntegon include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
