Aufgaben

Position has responsibility for end-to-end management of operator, instructional and parts manuals. Create documentation which clarifies product features and benefits. Provide high quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products and services. Work collaboratively with engineering, assembly, service and other equipment experts to make our equipment easier to use.

  • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product, our services, and the documentation requirements.
  • Create operator, instruction and parts manuals for customer ordered machines by gathering information from product team, engineering and assembly personnel.
  • Create tutorials to help end-users operate a variety of applications.
  • Use photographs, SolidWorks or other illustrations to provide comprehensive references for instruction and parts reference.
  • Coordinate electronic files along with printing if requested for customer orders.
  • Responsible for maintenance of existing manuals.
  • Coordinates language translation for manuals as required.
  • Support customer training for documentation printing and shipping.
  • Provide manuals and updates for legacy equipment when ordered or modernized.
  •  Review customer URS documents and provide feedback regarding options we can and can’t offer.

Profil

Basic Requirements:

  • A 4-year degree in a Engineering, Technical or writing field
  • A minimum of 3 years work experience with technical writing in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and make the easily understandable in text and pictures.
  • Strong leadership, sense of urgency, and drive for excellence.
  • Organizational mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Solid computer proficiency with advanced level word-processing and spreadsheet skills in Microsoft Office products.
  • Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Self-motived, ability to work independently along with leading and contributing in cross-functional teams by providing functional support and guidance.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously, professionalism in accepting changing priorities/deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and resiliency when facing change, negative situations, and ambiguity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to partner with other functions and foster teamwork.
  • Commitment to representing the company in a professional manner and upholding company values.
  • Strong customer service focus with internal and external customers.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,000.00 - $135,000 based on a full-time schedule.

Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At Syntegon compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at Syntegon include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
