WEM: Media Frontify

Served with a responsive srcset (400 / 800 / 1200 / 1600 px). Aspect ratio cropping (original, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1) is configurable per module instance. Focal point is sourced from Frontify and applied automatically — a per-instance override would be possible but is not currently implemented.

Frontify delivers SVGs as external file URLs. Embedded as a standard img, the SVG is isolated from the document — fills and paths are unreachable by CSS or JavaScript. By fetching the file at runtime and injecting the svg element directly into the DOM, it becomes part of the page and can be manipulated like any other element. Currently configured: a color picker in the module editor passes a hex value which is applied to all fill properties at render time.

Currently configured: autoplay, mute, loop, and player controls — all set per module instance. Controls are shown on hover only; poster image is auto-generated from a video frame. Note: Frontify's CDN does not support quality or resolution parameters for video, so bitrate and resolution are served as-is from the source file.
